Hi, Jennifer – you’d be right – Henry’s my dad! He’s looking forward to the film, too.

I find all this fascinating. I’d love to see this movie. My grandparents were from Wernersdorf, Motschna Colonies in what is now Ukraine and immigrated to Kansas and then Minnesota state where my father and siblings were born. Grandpa is of Mennonite heritage but became a pastor, riding on horseback in early days, in our current denomination. My dad fought in WWII and liberated the very first concentration camp discovered in Germany in the war.

    Sorry, Molotschna Colonies. Typo.
